Bedford Gallery at Lesher Center for the Arts

The Bedford Gallery at Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek is a nonprofit art gallery. It is located at 1601 Civic Dr, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. The Bedford Gallery exhibits work by contemporary, modern, and historic artists. The center also hosts educational programs that provide the community with a diverse exposure to the visual arts. The museum hosts between four and five exhibitions each year, organizes seminars, and holds public lectures and conferences. The Bedford provides a unique venue for both school children and adults to explore art and the history of art.
The Bedford Gallery is a nonprofit arts organization with a dedicated team of volunteers. Volunteers help staff the reception desk every day and plan special events. With over 3,500 square feet of exhibition space, it's the largest collective visual arts venue between Sacramento and the Bay Area. The Lesher Center for the Arts has three different venues. All three venues are part of the Diablo Regional Art Association, a community nonprofit that supports artistic excellence and provides opportunities for the entire Contra Costa community to enjoy the arts.  More about.
Admission to the Bedford Gallery is free. All visitors must be vaccinated against the deadly COVID-19 virus. Those who do not have this shot must have completed a full course within 14 days before attending an exhibition. An acceptable vaccination record is a CDC Vaccination Record Card, State of California COVID-19 Vaccination Record, or Curacubby FastScreen Veterinary Vaccine Verification Pass. Guests who cannot meet this requirement will be denied admission.

The gallery is the largest collective visual arts venue between the Bay Area and Sacramento, with over 3,500 square meters of exhibition space. The Bedford Gallery is part of the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, which also houses the Diablo Regional Art Association, which is a partner of the gallery and invests in artistic excellence and provides opportunities for all to enjoy the arts.

While the Bedford Gallery is open to the public, it is not free. All of the activities in the gallery are free of charge, and admission is included with the purchase of a gift card. You can even share the gift cards with others, if you'd like. There are many ways to share the Arts at the Lesher Center for the Arts.
